Good Advice for Homeschool Families

Spunky at Spunky Homeschool as a post about a great article called Solving the Crisis in Homeschooling.

This article is written by an experienced homeschooler and author, Reb Bradley, from Family Ministries who discusses why some homeschool kids get into trouble in their late teens, even when things looked so promising in their early teens. Regardless of your religious persuasion, there is some very good advice that could apply to any type of homeschooler.

I especially like his explanation of why some children from Christian homes do so well in the public school even when the schools do not support their values.

The part of Reb Bradley's post that I found most interesting is how parents sometimes set their children up to fail by a manipulative, cohersive and/or authoritarian parenting style.

Parents can make things look good on the outside, but true goodness come from the inside out.
