Instapundit posts today about CROWS (common remotely operated weapon stations) which allows the army to run a gun without exposing the soldier to the enemy. United States soldiers find it a lot like playing a video game, and they are very effective with CROWS. A post at Strategy Page has some details and ends with "Video games can save your life." Maybe we'll have to play more computer games as part of our homeschool curriculum.
I thought I had posted about the value of playing computer games like Civilization, but I've not been able to find it mentioned in my blog. I may have left a comment in another blog.
