Every Thursday I blog about homeschooling and family related issues with three other moms who also have large families. Lately we’ve been devoting our Thursday posts to Questions and Answers. Recently I answered this question:
How do you get your child evaluated when he or she finishes a school year, like in regular schools there are final exams and results which indicate the child’s learning achievement in that year. In home schooling, do the children’s work get evaluated by some school official or anyone to assess if the child has progressed and is ready to be promoted to the next grade. or is it the home schooling mom’s decision?
