Mission statement: On this blog we explore why homeschooling can be a better option for children and families than a traditional classroom setting. We'll also explore homeschooling issues in general, educational thoughts, family issues, and some other random stuff.
Funny, we were just playing Life last weekend and commenting that the way the game is set up, the prospect of buying a house doesn't pay off. It is hard to make a profit on a sale and if you buy insurance, you can't make money. But there are no spaces where you have to pay rent if you don't own a house. I also noticed that the current game seems to have far fewer spaces for kids. I remember having to lay kids on top of a full car. When we just played, the most kids was two and a couple players had none.
