As a political junkie, this race was interesting before the selection of Palin. Now I'm not sure how I'm going to get any school work done. Maybe we'll begin in December.

I won't worry about it. I'm sure your children will be learning tons.
I've taken my daughters down to city council. They find it boring, but it leads to lots of fun discussions later. Especially when I stay up to speak.
