Would you like to have a reminder email?
We've been having trouble with Blog Carnival. One blogger suggested I send out a reminder on Fridays. I'm wondering, how many people would like a weekly email reminder to send in an entry to the carnival?
Emails would be helpful. I'm just trying to step into the carnivals, and I don't really understand how it works yet. Everytime I find one, it's already over.
The carnival happened each week. You can send in your submission via email or Blog Carnival (but email is better) and your entry will be routed to the current host.
The service recognizes time zones from the email headers so if you setup a reminder for 11 AM, you’ll be reminded as per your time zone. You may also setup recurring email reminders with FollowUpThen though an online calendar would be a more suitable option for such tasks.
Kristen - in general the blog hosts don't publish a specific theme ahead of time. Part of the fun of a blog carnival is the variety. You submission can be anything you've written. It doesn't have to be a post written just for the carnival. The one thing we do ask is you don't use a post for more than one carnival.

I've created a weekly reminder email list. The four of you above has all be added.
If anyone else wants to be added, just tell me.
Kristen, the schedule for which blogs will be hosting the carnival in the next couple weeks is kept here:

Great! Is there a specific theme, or is it pretty open?
Also...is it okay to use a post from our own blog, or should be write something specific to the carnival only?
