One of the things I've struggled with now and then with getting older is back pain.
My mother found a good resource on back pain.
One of the best things I've found is just making sure to stretch every day or two.

My wife was out of commission for almost a year with sevear back pain. Walking 30 min to an hour every day is one of the best things you can do for your back.
I should also say that she stretches and does some exercises every day or every few days. One great book is Pain Free: A Revolutionary Method for Stopping Chronic Pain by Pete Egoscue.
Wow, out for a year. I've had times I was out for a couple days, but a year is almost unimagineable. I'm glad she's better.
