Another beautiful picture from APOD - A Whirlpool Galaxy
I find it interesting that the Astronomy Picture of the Day web site has a huge variety of pictures. They have ones of our local planets. They have ones taken around earth. They have nearby nebulas. But the pictures I enjoy the most seem to be those of galaxies.
