Floppies were taking off when I was in college. One day I was agasted when a friend took a floppy out of his binder and unfolded it. Floppy drives couldn't handled bent floppies.
I thought about the floppies while watching this video. It is only a minute long and the really cool event happens about thirty seconds into the video.
Amazingly cool.
