Subway bans homeschoolers!

I'm not happy and I don't think you will be either. Do you feel a blog coming on? :-)

I rarely go to this carnival, but I succumbed to the procrastination referred to above. I was surprised (no, maybe I wasn't) at the number of submissions that had to do with the negative aspects of government education, that are reasons why we homeschool in the first place. I wonder if they would still say these things if they knew we were listening. :o)

I remember reading that teachers were twice as likely as the public to pull their children from public schools and put them in private schools. The worse the schools, the more the public pulls their children, and the teachers will pull their children twice as fast.

I think most teachers know government schools are broken, they are just hoping they can fix the system, rather than scrap the whole system.
