The San Jose Mercury News reports that Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O'Connell says parents have a right to homeschool:
"State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O'Connell issued a statement today saying that after reviewing the ruling, he sees no reason to change the state's policies regarding home schooled students."
