I found a problem with homeschooling

When hearing children complain adults will often talk about the hardships they faced growing up. An extreme example of this is The Four Yorkshiremen. Four successful men are sitting around relaxing. They start talking about the old days. Soon they are each trying to out do the others:

One version of the script is here.

During breakfast this morning I realized that my daughters will not be able to tell their children: "I use to walk to school, in the snow, uphill, both ways." It just doesn't have the same impact to say "When I was your age I had to walk to the kitchen to go to school."
