Spunky is back with thoughts on Huckabee

Spunky use to blog frequency with wise and thoughtful posts. Just over a year ago she decided to take a break. Spunky started posting again Monday. Several people asked her what she thought of Huckabee. On Monday she started writing, part II came out on Tuesday, and part III came out today. She documents her concerns.

I don't have an informed opinion about the presidential candidates, yet. I do want a smaller federal government. Several people I respect have commented that Huckabee see the government as the solution to many problems. If that is what Huckabee feels, then it is a big strike against him.

If you want to learn more about Huckabee, check out Spunky's blog.

If you're looking for a federalist, that's Fred Thompson. He actually discusses the issues intelligently and thoghtfully and has a plan for how to fix them. In some cases the plan is to defederalize it, or at least less regulation. (In some cases you need to take a step away at a time, not just drop it completely). I have never been so impressed with a candidate.

I don't know much about Fred Thompson.

I have a lot of respect for California State Senator Tom McClintock. Senator McClintock has encorsed Fred Thompson, so I am inclined to look favorably on Fred Thompson.

The only presidential candidate that supports home schooling in Ron Paul. And fortunately he is the leading candidate. His supporters all on their own set the record for fund raising, $4.3 million in one day then broke that record 6 weeks later $6 million and it was raised $100 at a time. Doing it better and on their own, sounds like home schoolers, doesn't it?
