I notice you didn't post this to misc.education.home-school.christian as you often do. Did you finally give up because of the ugliness there? I'm working on starting up a moderated homeschooling group that will be perfect for your "carnival" announcements. I'll let you as I make progress on it.
I didn't get around to posting on misc.education.home-schoo.christian because life has been pretty crazy the last week.
I have a mailing list. If you would like to be added send me a note. Typically I'll send out an announcement on the recent carnival within a couple hours of it being posted.
