This may be a record for our blog - 2 hours 18 minutes

Janine and I blog to support homeschoolers and encourage parents to try homeschooling. One of the ways we can tell if we are having an impact is by checking SiteMeter. The more hits we have, and the longer people stay, the more of an impact we have.

SiteMeter reported that this morning some from Denmark spent two hours and 18 minutes reading our blog!

The reader came in via the Danish version of Google. The search pattern was homeschool. Our blog was the tenth site listed. The reader had 21 page views.

If you check quickly you can read the full report.

If you have a blog and don't have a hit reporter, check out SiteMeter.

I love looking through my statistics (I use StatCounter). Without them I'd have no way of knowing that my mother, father, sister, cousin, and mother-in-law are all secretly reading my blog.

I finally got my mom to fess up to it.

It's always interesting to see where people are coming from, like the recent visitor to my site from Iran. No doubt reading about decadent American homeschoolers.

I really enjoy checking my site counter, although I admit to being occasionally creeped out by who is reading my blog.

I know what you mean.

Our 1000th hit on our blog was from the CIA!

Some of the goolge searches which took people to our blog were scary.

And some times I haven't a clue what people are looking for.
