Would you like a college education for free?

Wendy Boswell provides an amazing list of college level classes online. If you are homeschooling a teenager who has an interest in learning Hungarian, or you want to learn sign language, or a friend wants to learn economics, go check out the list.

Several people point out in the comments that you may not get credit for taking these classes, but homeschoolers are well aware of the difference between receiving an education and receiving a certificate. There are too many high school graduates who have a diploma, but little education. Given the choice I'd rather have the education than a piece of paper.

You could always take CLEP tests for the actual credit. Or talk to the university about testing out of certain courses.

Good point.

I took three Advanced Placement (AP) tests in high school.
