PHAT Mommy found a web site which builds custom charts. DLTK's Custom Chore Chart gives you a lot of variety in what is in the chart and how it looks. One slight down side is while building a chart they throw some advertising up at you.
You might involve your children in selecting a character for the chart, and wording the chores.
