In addition to sending in something for the Carnival of Homeschooling, consider submitting a post to the next Carnival of Education. EdWonk will be hosting it at his blog The Education Wonks. Entries are due Tuesday evenings at 6:00 PM PST. You can send them to: owlshome [at] earthlink [dot] net, or use the Blog Carnival Submission form.
The Education Wonks stays on top of the latest news in education. For example EdWonks posted about a Chelsea Fraser, a 13-year-old middle school student, who was taken away in handcuffs because she wrote "Okay" on her desk. The treatment by the police seems way, way, way over the top. At first blush this seems like a classic case of Zero Intelligence.
