Hot Potato (Continued)
In my recent post, I commented on the report that a grandmother accidentally dropped a baby off at the wrong address, thinking it was daycare. I've been trying to picture how that could happen. After doing some research, I found a local news report with an interesting twist to the story.
"The woman who lives there takes care of a number of children and when a woman approached her with the young boy, she says she was not clear if this was one of children for whom she has been providing care."
Now doesn't that give you a warm fuzzy. The daycare provider didn't even recognize the children under her care. And you think your child gets "special" attention at daycare.
It wasn't until 4 pm that the mother and grandmother contacted the police. Obviously, they don't check in with the babysitter during the day to see how the child is doing.
I don't think these are evil people. They just have been swallowed up by the destructive trends of our generation.

You do if you're kid goes to my wife's daycare.
Of course, she only has two kids in the daycare... with the same parents... and one of them is our goddaughter...
Of course, if you are the type of person to just throw your kid at grandma, who then just throws the kid at a day care provider, then you won't look for someone like my wife.
