This morning my mother sent me a URL to a column titled Homeschooling, sweet homeschool by Nathanael Blake. I've noticed it mentioned by Spunky and HomeSchoolBuzz. Spunky points out that the comments are worth reading. Google Blog Search already shows nine blogs which link to the column.
There is a reason why bloggers are bringing it to the attention of their readers: the column is good. Nathanael is a young man, a senior at Oregon State University. His main point is that he will homeschool his children. He covers some of the big problems with public school, and the benefits of homeschooling.
It would be hard to summarize the column, so if you need more reasons to homeschool, go read the whole thing. It would also be good to send to a friend who was thinking about homeschooling.
