I can certainly understand if the school's program is not something you would want to reproduce at home. But reacting with shock or fear to these activities will make it more difficult for you to model kindness and respect for the benefit of your children.
Always remember you can treat people well without accepting every choice they make, or every trait they possess.Beccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15356974556397009124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18436046.post-1816945215943155812008-10-27T09:12:00.000-07:002008-10-27T09:12:00.000-07:00It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world. ~LukeIt's a mad, mad, mad, mad world.

~LukeLuke Holzmannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07799632321310461828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18436046.post-26241067035465604302008-10-25T11:53:00.000-07:002008-10-25T11:53:00.000-07:00Ringgold School of Art and Science, a K-8 charter ...Ringgold School of Art and Science, a K-8 charter school, is also an "under-performing" school. They have an API score of 679 compared with 767 for the average school in their category.

Not that test scores are everything, but the school is taking time away from academic subjects for political indoctrination. Who cares if they can't read, write, or do math well enough to get a good job, at least they will have the "right" attitudes.Janine Catehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04078812496080773315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18436046.post-823922791779854582008-10-25T07:39:00.000-07:002008-10-25T07:39:00.000-07:00I think the government schools need to teach readi...I think the government schools need to teach reading, writing and math and very little else. In other words they want tolerance for their beliefs and convictions without believing that they need to be tolerant of others beliefs and convictions. But the legal rights have been granted to homosexual domestic partners under state law for years. And it's quite clear from all the recent controversial events that the government-run schools are very much where the gay activists are pushing their agenda.Crimson Wifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03254830856234479999noreply@blogger.com
